Cactus Foothills LLSB wins first game!

The Cactus Foothills LLSB State Champions played their first game Saturday, defeating Montana 2-0.  CF scored right off the bat with 2 runs the first inning and stayed tough for the rest of the game on defense.  The bats were a little cold, but I'm sure they will come alive soon.  I'm going to bet a little nerves with first game on ESPN+.  Pitcher  Savannah Gaston threw a great game. 7 strikeouts, no walks and only gave up 2 hits.  CF had only 3 hits.

CF will play Nevada, who had the bye for the tournament on Sunday night at 7pm.
