2019 Az 8-10 Girls Softball STATE CHAMPIONS - Cactus Foothills

The Cactus Foothills LL 8-10 Girls Softball defeated District 6 - Arcadia LL 16-12 Wednesday night to take the 2019 Arizona State Championship. 

Cactus Foothills had to fight their way to the win.  The lost on July 12 to District 14 and dropped into the loser's bracket of a double elimination tournament being played in Verde Valley.  This meant they had to play almost every night and had to win 2 championship games to win the State Championship.  They played a total of 7 games in 8 days.  The team never lost focus and played one game at a time.  

This is also the second win for a State Championship for Cactus Foothills.  The Little League (Majors) Girls Softball team has arrived at San Bernardino to play in the Western Region Little League Softball Tournament representing Arizona.
